Q&A Report:
Q: For migration to account based, what if you have multiple Gl accounts mapped to single key figure?
A: If you have multiple accounts mapped to a single key figure, then you do not need to change anything, because you already have the granularity per account, which is needed in Account-Based CO-PA. If you want to summarize the accounts then you can add them to the same node of the G/L (or cost element) hierarchy.
Q: Can you come up with one sentence on what Winshuttle does to help customers with their S/4 migration?
A: In a nutshell, Winshuttle provides business users the ability to develop Excel enabled templates that can upload and download SAP data, all without programming. There's a lot more we can do and we'd love to speak with you to discuss your S/4 project.
Q: Can ERPfixers be used as an implementation partner to migrate to S/4 from ECC just like we could use Accenture, Deloitte?
A: Yes, we can be used as an implementation partner to migrate from ECC to S/4.
Q: Why no mention of TDMS or SAP Migration cockpit?
A: The CVI cockpit is a great tool that specifically addresses BP conversion and we wanted to highlight it. TDMS and Migration Cockpit are also available to use.
Q: 3rd party migration tools (Winshuttle) - so many options - how to choose?
A: Winshuttle is a great tool to have in your portfolio because of its flexibility to work with a wide range of data and this does not require any programming. We'd love to speak with you and share how we've helped customers in their S/4 migration projects.
Q: When you say run depreciation real time, does that mean it is posting depreciation financial postings on every depreciation run?
A: This means that you do not need to process a batch job (i.e. SM35) to process the Depreciation Run. It also means that all Depreciation Areas that are mapped to standard Ledgers are posted in Realtime (i.e. no derived Depreciation Areas needed).
Q: Any experience around 'Universal Allocations' latest functionality?
A: Yes, we have experts with experience in Universal Allocations with S/4 1909.
